The deWiz Tempo Ratio analyzes your golf swing rhythm by comparing your backswing time to your downswing time. For full swings, the ideal ratio is 3:1.
How to determine if your Tempo Ratio is too high or too low and how to fix it:
If Your deWiz tempo ratio is < 2.5:1:
- Your downswing is too slow. Use the "whoosh drill". TL;DR in your downswing, listen to the sound your club makes and make that "whoosh" sound higher.
If Your deWiz tempo ratio is > 4:1:
- A slow backswing is the issue. Firmly grip the club and initiate your backswing aggressively. Achieving the correct tempo ensures better club alignment, timing, and added distance. TL;DR take the club back faster and explode out of the gate.
